I have a unitesever harddisk player i need to make it wifi enable so i can collect meterdater from my network i dont have a landline.

Alan,
if you are using mobile broadband then you can get a box into which you can plug your mobile BB dongle and it will then work like a router. You then just plug the Unitiserve into the LAN socket of the box.
