Impeccable logic and my sort of ethics. Problem is, what has he got that we want? Nothing else seems to matter. Monsters abound. Some are higher profile. But in the final analysis, who of us are not?

Tyrant or not, I don't feel any rejoicing.

Tens of thousands died by his hands, many more in the revolution to overthrow him. His death brings a sense of closure, but surely not any re-balancing of the scales.

Perhaps we might ask ourselves how it came to this? Yet another tawdry tagedy in the history of Homo Sapiens Stupidus.
