Analogue Tickets.

Way back when, we used to have to que / send cheques / wait in endless phone queues, and get something paper based in return. Non of your download bar code and we will charge you £30.00 for the pleasure of using our site and credit card rubbish here. Bit of a musical journey from 1977 till slightly later.

I'm willing to bet plenty here were at some of these same gigs / tours.

Had an idea to create something in a frame for the music room so went rummaging in the loft.

Feel a whole lot older now though.

Apparently the new digital tickets sound better!

How much of an improvement was the "NEW" Bingley Hall?

Good selection I have some real ticket stubs somewhere, unfortunately the really early ones have gone missing(lost).

Oddly the 'new' Bingley hall still had an odour of cattle some of the time. convinced it was used as a livestock market some of the time. Rubbish venue, rubbish facilities, rubbish acoustics, but all that was available to groups at the time as no NEC / NIA etc. Saw Thin Lizzy there and a few others for whom the tickets no longer exist. I'm reasonably certain that one support act was a not very well known - then - 'Scorpions'!

Some of us went there( Old Bingley Hall) a couple of times when we were on courses at Stone. There was also a park up that way, had Pink Floyd there once, unfortunately I didn't get to see them.
