n-serve instead of n-stream

You can't control the NDX using the n-Serve. You can use it to control the Unitiserve, but if the Unitiserve is not directly conected to the hifi via a digital cable the replay functions won't work and there's not much point in connecting the Unitiserve to the hifi if you have an NDX unless you have two systems. Mine is connected to the system via ethernet cable and switch. I use n-Serve for monitoring ripping progress and I could use it to create playlists which can be accessed by n-Stream. In reality I usually create playlists using eLyric or Plugplayer or moan about lack of n-Stream on-the-fly playlists here.

I'm afraid so Lars. On the plus side, the NDX served by the Unitiserve is a joy to use. Plus, I think we all feel a lot calmer since Tom clarified Naim's plans and managed our expectations.
