Spotify on HDX iRadio?

Hello,

I just installed the software update on my HDX and the iRadio is wonderful. The only thing I really miss from my old Sonos setup is the possibility to ink up with my Spotify account. Do any of you know if that is possible to do via the HDX?

I have HDX, NDX and multi zone Sonos setup with Spotify and Napster. I don't think you can link the Sonos to the HDX. I have linked a Sonos ZP90 to the optical input of the NDX (Digital 3) and it works very well. Sound quality is excellent - not far short of the quality you get on Radio Paradise 320K on either the NDX or HDX.

I use my ipod connected via a simple dock station into the USB at the back of my Unitiserve. Works well.

Don't think it is possible at the moment, to be able to stream spotify with the HDX. Personally, for me too, this would be a great addition for any future software update. Let's hope Naim give this one consideration, as it is one thing which the Sonos has over the Naim streamers at the moment, (unless any of the latest Naim streamers do it???)

.. except that it is possible if you own an iPod/Touch/Nano/Pad, as Gerry says.

Right, ok. I presume that this only works for premium members where you have access to playlists offline though, rather than live streaming direct from spotify?

What (if anything) would happen if you streamed Spotify, or any internet source, to a laptop or and then ran a usb cable into the usb slot at the front of the HDX?
