HDX/nDac or nDac/XPS2

It will depend on the quality of the bitstream feeding your nDAC. HDX offers great rips and all in one convenience but comes at a price. I'd say there are cheaper alternatives that can deliver similar quality so if these are ok for you nDAC/XPS can be a very good source component.

NDAC plus Su is the best sollution. However if you can live without the touch screen on the hdx, the ns01 plus NDAC plus su is a cheaper sollution. the choice is more do you want the integrated ripper. player streamer and upnp server hdx and ns01 is, or do you want to setup all these things yourself. Cheaper but more computerwork.

I really like my ns01, and I am not really sure I have spend to much money on the sollution since I traded it in for my cd s3, but a vortexbox and maybe an external nas is much cheaper than ns01 or hdx.

Do both, or all three! HDX into nDac with XPS2. Nirvana; nothing better!

At it's price point possibly. But it can be taken a stage further.
