WAV Tagging on MAC. Problem solved (I think)...

So I was faffing about last night trying to sus out this WAV tag editing shenanigans on my MacBook and I discovered Kid3 ID3 tagger. Couldn't seem to find anything else that would write tags to WAV on OSX and was about to give up and then came across this:
I have ripped most of the collection in DbPoweramp on my PC but some I have done with XLD on my Mac as I was clinging to a faint hope that XLD had been writing tags to the WAV files just like Poweramp has. The Poweramp tags show up just fine but sadly there does not appear to be any tags in the XLD WAVs. Kid3 reads all the DbPoweramp tags just fine, writes tags to untagged files but curiously DbPoweramp won't pick these tags up. I don't have any Upnp software to further test the tags and it has been said on here that Asset (I plan to run Asset when I get a NAS set up) will read DbPoweramp WAV tags. If anyone running Asset does go ahead and download Kid3 perhaps you could report back and let me know if Asset does actually pick these tags up. Would be much appreciated. I managed to get DbPoweramp running on my MacBook using Crossover, but from memory there was a Tag editor which I can't seem to find now, and the general ease of use i recall seems compromised. I'm pretty new to all this computer playback stuff so I'd be interested to here anyones comments on Kid3.
