Top 100

I think everybody has a list of 100 albums that you consider you're favourite's so here's a thread devoted to just that. Every album I put on here will be an album that I could not live without. They will be in no particular order but so we can follow it every album will have a number beside it. Comments would be good, maybe they are yours as well. Let's see how it goes.

Roger Waters - yes I acquired and listen to Amused To Death and have to confess I really liked it - I have quite a few albums by Pink Floyd and I do definitely like them, but wouldn't automatically think of them post-Barrett when asked what are my favourite bands. However, Roger has certainly had many great moments and this it appears, all in all, is another one of them. The second track in particular is superb.
All the best, Guy

I used to work up quite a sweat grooving to this one. A nice collection of tunes that is usually overlooked among his ouvre. Some people complained about the cover, but I'm sure Otis didn't care. Just wanted the sales,.. and if a caucasian chick did the trick, why not ??

What do you think of the remix/remaster on redbook cd that was released not too long ago? From what I read, the band says they did not truly remaster it but just "tweaked" it. However, I find it sounding VERY different, mix-wise, than the original.

Hi bart
I've not heard the Remaster of Achtung Baby, I am happy with the original and that is the version I will stay with. I do buy some remasters but always a bit nervous about it because a lot of the times the remasters are worse and just a way for record companies to get more money for the same product. But I will try to here the Remaster of this and let you know.
