Another of the greats gone. One of the sensitive, delicate and innovative drummers of the last 50 years. His work on ECM and the Trio with Lovano and Frisell really is a marvel.

This is sad news! Loved his work with the Bill Evans trio. Talk about grace & abstraction all the while moving the beat forward. RIP Paul Motian, and thank you for your music.
