Just wondering can SuperUniti  stream 24bit/192kHz from usb memory stick?

Yes, I was playing the Albert King and StevieRay Vaughn album In Session from a USB stick last night through the S-400 I have at home presently. The SuperUniti is a delight. The Ovators make a great match. 24/192 is amazing.

I'll echo that. Plays fantastically from a stick. My only caution would be: get a short one if it's in a traffic area as it sticks out from the front!

I have yet to determine why a USB3 stick shows up as "empty" however. USB2 is fine. But, in order to test, I'll have to get another USB3 stick and see if it was just a one-off error - or maybe related to the type of stick (though I doubt that).

Check how it was formatted - should be FAT32

That's the ticket! I actually knew that - just never thought about it. Thanks for the reminder -- works just fine.

Interestingly I compared a few CD rips from stick to original CD (playing through the SU from my CDS3). Even though the entire system is still recovering from a power outage, the CDS3 sounded better than the rips. So far. HD music, however, sounds better than CDS3, comparing the same pieces in each medium.

So, now you have to work on the ripping process...
