How many teams will decide they can't compete against Red Bull and concentrate on developing 2013's turbo 1.6 litre V6 engine?
Are there any rule changes for next year worth knowing about?

Today is the anniversary of "that" weekend, today:-
Remembering Roland Ratzenberger
Remembering Ayrton Senna R.I.P.
Met up with my mate who works in the aero team for Sauber this last weekend. He says the performance window for chassis/tyre combos is really, really narrow this year, and very track temperature/set up/wear dependent. He predicts very unlikely we will see any dominant single team, and on certain tracks maybe 6 teams in the running for wins. His view is that it is rather contrived and a bit silly.

A decal for Chelsea FC on the Saubers now too.
Congratulations to Williams and Pastor great win in Spain.
5 different drivers win the first 5 races in 2012.
Triumph to almost tragedy?
A huge and sudden fire in the Williams pit as they were celebrating the win.
Apparently some injuries.

latest by BBC:
The latest from F1 chief writer Andrew Benson in the paddock is that one mechanic has been taken to the medical centre to be checked over but the rest of the team is in the clear.
We've had another update from our F1 chief writer Andrew Benson in the paddock who tells us that one Williams mechanic and one Force India mechanic are being treated at the medical centre.
Thoughts are with all involved in the fire, a truly terrifying incident I'd guess.
Petrol, high temperatures, static..... ?

Great win for Pastor indeed - so much for him being only a pay driver.
Aftermath:-
Another picture of Williams incindent
It is reported that 1 person was airlifted to hospital with serious burns to his legs. Others have been treated for smoke inhalation in the track medical center or a local hospital.
That's terrible news. Such a rich and varied motorsport history, and I know people that work there. Let's hope someone can lift them back up to where they were when supplying pretty much the full Indy grid chassis.

Would the Italian government allow Dallara to go under?
Sad news indeed - after 50+ years one would have hoped a little bit more respectful end (if the end is unavoidable).
Tony, a couple of pics to name on Facebook. It's the same circuit BTW.
I cba googliany this now. I've looked at every banked circuit in the world ever, except this one, obviously. I give in.
Tony
Autódromo de Sitges-Terramar!!!!
And what's a googliany??

Crikey, another piccie:
That was some creation.....

What I find amazing is that it is actually complete, only used for 2 years aswell.
A group of people are trying to re-activate the place.
A contrast to the worlds first purpose built race track, Brooklands.
Makes an Apache look erm, complicated!
Thanks for posting that Howard.
