Acoustics were just great - just about amplified sound. That guy is an artist in every description of the word at the keyboard.

Drummer and Double bass players got notes  / tunes out of their kit that should not come from them??

We had front row for Tord and his trio a couple of years back in Vancouver. Wonderful.

What is it with BS.  We have a friend who camps out overnight to ensure front row position gig after gig after gig.  She can often be seen On the big screen at Glasto or wherever screaming as if it were her first concert ever.......Don't get it myself.  G

Graeme, it is the best, most life affirming, gig experience available.

Bruce gigs are some of the best nights I have ever had. No one works for his audience and gives as much as this guy. Seen him on twenty something occasions to date. Looking forward to more this summer. It is the best of all the many gigs I go to.

How this makes into the London Jazz Festival line up is beyond me. Same as last year with that Krauss lady.

Got to say this years LJF line ups a bit predictable. Nothing to tempt me so far.....

It is brilliant - I am going on 15th. It's the drumming that blew me away last time....

Just how many of us are going to see Steve Wilson on the 15th?

I'm dragging a friend along with me.

Need to be in early to grab a CD that is only available there (version of the vinyl that apperared last week)

Then he is not on stage till gone 9pm according to his Facebook page.

Rally rather looking forward to it.

Did you find the teaser (complete vid of Drag Ropes) on you Tube from his Storm Corrosion album.

Steve, well that makes 4 of us so far. MrClick and Denis A are going also. MrClick and I are going to go music shopping in London, then off for a big Asian food/drink feast in Chinatown and then onto the venue. Will probably camp in the pub on the corner before the show (O'Neills I believe) if you want to meet for a beer. Last time I was in there before a Steve Wilson show, Steve Hackett walked in for a drink. Will send you an email.......

Posted on: 29 April 2012 by Steve2701

That sounds like a plan!

Need to park the car again (afer 6pm) to get the special price ticket from the shopping ctr.

Not sure what time we will be there yet as my mate is working till miday - then we need to get down there.

Be good to see you again.
