Asset is not seeing some tracks

Why?

FYI: those are regular flacs. The tags look very common.

When I drag these flacs and drop them to Kinsky Desktop my KDS just plays them OK.

Have you forced Asset to do a rescan?

See if the tracks are held in Asset, by folder & filename browsing (under Advanced Search >> )

Thanks all.

Rescanning did not help but rebooting PC followed by rescanning the library resolved the issue.

So it's not about Asset -- this is a local OS issue.

I still not happy these things happen.

I wish I have a dedicated hardware uPnP server which just works and works...

AMA, what is the OS? Have you tried WHS? It seems very stable. The only issues I have is occasionally asset doesn't recognise new rips, so I just hit rescan, and asset quickly finds the additions and starts streaming them. I am using a beta version of asset, and had no problems with the official release. Simon

Simon, OS means Operational System (which is Windows 7 in my case).

That was a clear Windows glitch which has nothign to do with Asset.

After rebooting PC and rescanning the Asset it all works just fine.

I'm sorry to make a mess on a forum.
