Who know wich CD - Rom is build in the Unityserve? Mine is broken after 1 Jahr.
Mate, you want to be sending that to a dealer, not doing it yourself.
+1
Naim often enhance standard components - so I'd get it back to the dealer for Naim to repair.
Even if it is a vanilla TEAC CD ROM drive, I'd still want Naim to repair it.
The loader is a TEAC mechanism but not with standard firmware ... your dealer should be the contact for this as the unit should still be under warranty if it's only a year or so old.

Is one cheap Teac Drive Standard for Naim?
TEAC makes some of the best drive mechanisms on the planet, nothing cheap about them. As Phil explained, Naim enhances the firmware so it is optimal for its intended use.
I've seen Naim take an inexpensive Phillips VAM drive mechanism and re-engineer it to very high standards.
When you buy a Naim product it includes the service to make sure everything fits as it should and works as well as possible. It is not the type of assembly a Guy like me could do.
So my advice was saying even if you think - oh I could replace that bit, don't - go through your dealer and get it done by Naim. I have seen them at work in Salisbury and the care and precision is second to none - plus you get the quality assurance.
