New router woes - please help IT idiot

I need some help please
In my living room I have my HDX connected to my router via an ethernet cable. This connects via 10m ethernet cable to a switch in my study which connects to my iMac and a ReadyNAS Duo. Also connected to the router is a over mains network adapter. Another over mains network adapter is connected to my Unitiqute in the bedroom. This was working brillantly and had been fautless for the last six months.
On Tuesday I lost broadband so arranged for a BT engineer to come in. Even though broadband was down I was still streaming music all around my house without a problem.
The BT engineer diagnosed a faulty router and replaced my old BT Homehub 3.0 for a new one. An exact like for like swap. Broadband now working
I configured the router in exactly the same way as I had six months ago when I moved and switched to BT.
However I can no longer play music stored on the NAS which has been ripped by the HDX. So music on the internal HDX hard drive can be played on the HDX and the Unitiqute. Music on the NAS which isn't in the Music Store, including 24/96 files, can be played on the HDX and the Unitiqute. Music in the Music Store on the NAS is unlistenable. It buffers every few seconds and stops and starts. This occurs on both HDX and Unitiqute.
What's going on here? Presumably I've missed something really obvious but I just can't see it. Many thanks for your help.
