Unable to put unitiserve into standby

If any one can throw any light on this, I am unable to use the naim logo to put my serve into standby.
The manual tells not to just switch off from the rear on off switch and to first touch the naim logo screen to activate standby mode.

I assume you have pressed the log button continuously for 5 seconds.

Hello,

My experience is that sometimes you have to press a little bit harder. Try with a wet finger as well. With or without shoes (I don't know if is is a capacitive switch or something else...)

If all fails, it may well be defective
