ipod questions!

Could someone help or point me in the direction of a good ipod helpdesk/fora etc? I am having real problems opening the latest version (which I downloaded by mistake really), it is taking forever to open, and i would love to know how i switch music from the compilation category to the album category. It seems to load cds into 'compilations' without rhyme or reason!

Hello James,

I am answering this from memory as I am at work and do not have ITunes/IPod with me but.......

Isn't the IPod just a reflection of how ITunes is displayed on your PC and when "synched" each time it changes the Ipod's display characteristics?

If this is the case, then by going into "Music" in the ITunes list you then have the options in the column headers to display either by artist / album / genre / release year etc.

There is definately a menu / display option somewhere, failing that a general "Google" search should throw out some answers. There may be a forum on the Apple website.

Hi James,

Go into the info of relevant tracks and untick 'Part of a Compilation'. An individual track will then display alphabetically by artist. It's also worth going to 'Settings' - 'Music Menu' and unticking 'Compilations' in that list.
