From the Mercury Living Presence Collector's Edition. It is nice to have this collaboration of Sir John Gielgud ready the english translations of the poems of Aloysius Bertrand (which form the basis of Ravels ideas around Gaspard de la Nuit. Excellent performance by Gina Bachauer and of course, a wonderful recorded sound (recorded June 1964, Stravinsky February 1963).

kk, I don't know if you saw our posts, but me and reubs were on about that cat in this thread only a week or so back.
If they like his album, I expect your ears will enjoy this half hour FlyLo mix of Thundercat from the Brainfeeder site: Shenanigans pt.1 that I downloaded (I think you still can?) around when his album dropped. I still havent heard ...Apocalypse though.

Thanks Adrian,
Just ordered Vol 1&2 from DGM. Taking a chance here, but as the source material is known, the jazz feel should be interesting. I also wanted some of Ian Wallace's last work, a wonderful drummer sadly missed.
