A very impressive disc, with a great selection of works. With this disc, Blechacz has finally proven that he's by far the most interesting young pianist on DG's roster. Gone is the slightly reserved pianism that characterized his earlier studio recordings, good as they were. Debussy and Szymanowski are termed impressionist and expressionist, but there's a good chance that if you love the former, you'll love the latter.

My favourite band. The S600s are revealing texture and nuance in this recording I'd never previously noticed. Tremendously satisfying. A great record but certainly not their most "accessible" album. One for the fans.
