What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Anyway, links:

Mozart Symphony No.40 & 41: Karl Böhm/Vienna Phil

This is Böhm's later recording with Vienna Phil. Never showy but beautifully delineated and polished yet remain down to earth and approachable.

Yep, this is great. Looking forward to an LP.

Obviously Clams is great.

Just to let you know, I downloaded LiveLoveA$AP for some more Clams, but haven't heard much yet. Yeah, an Evy Jane album would be good, and I'm tempted to get the vinyl of the ep - I like the cover and it might be worth a few pounds soon - just looked it up though and my favourite remix (the glitchy Julien Mier one) isn't on it.

'Demons' is my fave Clams beat on there. 'Peso' produced by ASAP Ty Beats was the street single, along with 'Purple Swag'.  Front to end the whole thing is great.

Two hours of mostly oldish stuff you'd love (check the tracklisting) and easy enough (!) to download from Brainfeeder.

cheers chief, attempting download now!
