What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Anyway, links:

Archive's Londinium; I've never really understood why this album is so underappreciated in the UK.  It's probably the best trip-hop album of the '90s.  Certainly the best album that Massive Attack and Zero 7 never made.  Things got more progressive after this, but just as strong and innovative.

If you don't know Archive then start with this one and Live at The Zenith.  You won't regret it.

An excellent band that perform their songs much better 'live' than captured on CD.

Found this quite hard work first listen, but it's now really growing on me. Strange woozy backing with a unique rap style that reminds me of Roots Manuva.
