What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Why does no one explain why - surely the cover alone means nothing?

Dave J , do you always have a reason to play a certain album?

Sometimes I just want to play some thing by XXX and that's what I play.

SACD.

A very good album that I have not listened to in a while.

Well BigH47, we've shared recommendations in the past and I agree with you - there are times when you just want to play something by XXX (and sometimes that is indeed by XXX).  All I'm saying here is that everyone just seems to post an album cover without explaining why, which seems to me to be missing the point.
