Another naff Rush recording.
Stu.
Is this just the performance of 'Moving Pictures' and not the rest of the concert?
Is the problem the sound quality, or the performance?
The show I was excellent, but did have 'stadium sound', but not as bad as the 2006 tour though.
I am tempted by the Blu-ray of the whole 2011 show, but it will have to wait a little while until I buy a player.

Just opened my LP/CD/DVD package that came today : )
Playing the CD for first listen...
So far at 3rd track in this is really superb,
and could not hope for a better mastering of this live performace!

Jono,
i wouldn't be too hasty...
be better to wait until we get a recommondation.
Also, on the Rhino site there are 4 customer rating reviews which only average out at 3/5 stars...
but when i click to read what they have to say i find an error-on-page prevents me doing so.
I think the big the problem maybe more to do with the recordings and mastering of the actually music,
rather than which manufacturer has pressed the vinyl.

Frédéric François Chopin and his Nocturnes. Musical gems of diffused radiance and singular beauty. Of course, by beauty, I am implying a beauty that may be stark, desolate, or even melancholy in character yet essentially comforting and reassuring in nature. This is music that is best heard (or played) in a solitary fashion where attention is given to the atmosphere and quality of light. Having the time and zero distractions is also a requisite for an ideal experience too.

Hi Debs
This is one album that is definitiely worth tracking down an original vinyl or CD release of depending on your preference. The remaster is not a patch on the original sound.
