What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Hi Jono

Between 1980 and 1995 I saw them over 100 times! Yes, they were always a great band live, apart from an odd period between Autumn 1983 and Summer '84.They still play occasionally, but I haven't seen them in over a decade.

Their Peel session of July 1981 is still my favourite Peel session ever.

Amazing reworkings of some classic tunes. Fascinating stuff.

I have been playing today on my travels and I think it superbly captures the atmosphere of the recent tour. Great cover Jamie.

Still have it.

I cant stand the rain had been out for a few months at the time.

We got in the club well to early.

She was the last act on around 10 after some good bands.

Went to a club Thursdays in High St Ken after.

My head hurt  for the next two days.

Stu.

Great story Stu.  She is one bad chick!
