What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

I regret to say that of the three, Solveig's is the least appealing with some odd distortion effects in the recording of the vocals. Bollani / Chailly is good if not as "jazzy" as I was expecting and Natalie Clein yet again fails to disappoint

Lost in the Trees - A Church That Fits Our Needs

Another recent local band discovery, although they have been around a few years.  Fits into some of the stuff I have been listening to lately - Sharon Van Etten, M.Ward, Andrew Bird, La Sera, etc.   Very favorable impression on first listen.

Robert Plant (and the Strange Sensation) 'Dreamland'.

For me his best post Zepplein album but quite a mark.
