What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Hi Kevin,

Sorry for the delay. I really like it as I love the afrobeat sound. Seun's vocals are quite raw, but add to the overall feel.

IMHO a great album.

Cheers

Bought this today. Some really great dub/tunes. A collection of old multi-track analogue master tapes Dennis gave the dub treatment to whilst recuperating from surgery. Some really great head nodding material, bass heavy and percussive.

Cheers

Cheers for that. I really like his dad, so I think I'll make a purchase as soon as funds permit.

That cover put me in mind of something else, so I dragged out this glorious piece of vintage Japanese vinyl:

Andy,

What do you think of the Tim & Sam life stream vinyl album.

Did you get your thank you card from Tim and Rebecca?
