What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Will really need to get to grips with the procedure for uploading images, but in the meantime a great album from the late eighties is Womack & Womack's Conscience. Real groove factor album, on CD, from Cecil, Linda and the clan. Worth a listen if not already had a chance.

The Grays - Ro Sham Bo

Only on it's 1st play, but the musical quality of this CD has a good chance of topping my power-pop list. This excellent collection of musicians includes ex Jellyfish members/contributors Jason Falkner & Jon Brion.

Alert for Gary Shaw & Kuma to check this out.
