This is one of my favourite Emperor. Beautiful orchestration that breaths the life into the music.
I believe this was his last Emperor recording at Abbey Road London. This is a US budget reissue but sound quality is excellent.

This sounds very nice but not as bashfully Beethoven as the Klemperer/Barenboim : )
Prefer the way the piano has been recorded on this version, shame this LP has too many loud pops; unless that's a few cannonballs flying around.

Bronze 1973. Offshoot of Colosseum with John Hiseman, Paul Williams, Mark Clarke and Alan Holdsworth. On original 1st issue vinyl. If you like Colosseum try this. Recommended.
