At the height of her fame, Angela Gheorghiu recorded this disc of art songs, from a wide range of composers. It's all a bit samey, but her irresistible voice makes this a disc well worth exploring.

Symphony no.8 in C minor

 

Set on 4 near mint LP sides, nice relaxed sound, looks like a long symph but surprised me how quick these records play out, and my cat isn't happy about having to re-settle on my lap each time i get up to flip the record over...
