What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

1969 Titled 'Stink'. Liberty Blue Label. Original vinyl

Canadian band who plied the clubs of England in the late '60s/'70s. Really good blues album. Contains one of the oddest song titles "Don't Give Me No Goose For Christmas Grandma"

If you like Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac try this.

She obviously had one positive aspect Stu, a good taste in music. My ex bitch, sorry, ex wife, got one of her friends husbands in to sell the records I couldn't take with me when I left at a car boot. There were a few hundred but nothing of great value. All of the good stuff was safely taken before. Suffice to say the friends husband in question got payback later.

In the whole scheme of things it's not important and I'm sure, like me, you're much happier now.

PS Any idea when you're going to Harry Potter World?

Steve,

The real bummer is Topper is a good friend of hers so she could of got a copy anyway.

The Harry has been put on hold for a few weeks ,His big sister lives in London and wants to go with him.

She just got news through from St Georges she is going in this Thursday for a big op on tubes and womb on Friday.

Next weeks get together might be off if and when she makes her mind up if she is coming home for a few weeks to get better.

[EMI] 8 x LP box-set (p) 1981 : )

Playing symphonies no.1 and no.2 [one each side of the first record]

Has a closer, brighter, and punchier sound than the Masur set : )

I still trust Todd and watch this often - http://www.livefromdarylshouse...rentep.html?ep_id=22

Todd's voice is excellent here, with songs based around truth... or not!

The bitter/funny words to the song "Flaw" are priceless and it was great to hear it 'live' last year.

Vinyl ... this stream lark is making me appreciate just how easy it is to play a record and it generally sounds nicer ... oh well confusion will be my epitaph
