What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

Posted by: Richard Dane on 29 December 2011

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Looking forward to seeing Rae @ Cecil Sharp House on 27 Sep. It's so good to discover a young singer with such a wonderful voice. The debut album should be quite something on the evidence of the demo's so far.

Think you get the picture......won't go on

Borrowed thIs to get The Floyd's DSOM.

In the shade in Malta with clear blue skies, a gentle breze and 35C listening to the Floyd on my iPad via some cheap ear phones and enjoying it watching the world go by.

I like it and that is something from some one who does not have a digital source at home and only buys vinyl.
Shame I don' have Meddle on my iPad.

Chords, you are very lucky to have an S2 player : )

My cd5x does it's best, and sounds very fine.

But my old cdi player was able to put across far more viola feel...

if you know what i mean ; )

Debs,

sometimes you have to risk.

CDS2 price was the same as my previous CDP (CDX2)

CDX2 and consort music - especially this disc - not very bad but long-term unlistenable.

CDS2 and consort music - really miracle; any time. Makes you to listen other consorts.

I have no found it on Naim forum...

What is amazing:
