On CD
I first heard a track from Willle Nile's "Streets of New York" album when "The Day I Saw Bo Diddley in Washington Square" was used to open the "Now Hear This" CD given with the April 2006 issue of "The Word". He is like the missing link between Dylan and Springsteen with a side order of Billy Joel,

In 2004, Alessandrini and Concerto Italiano did a landmark OVPP (one-voice-per-part) recording of the Vespers, beautifully captured in the Palazzo Farnese in Rome. Not necessarily the most beautiful voices around, but Alessandrini's group sing with unmatched persuasiveness, subtlety and spontaneity, as well as total command of the language.
Chords, I saw you post the wonderful Savall performance. In case you don't know the Alessandrini performance, it makes a great comparison.
Cheers,
EJ
