What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

John Cooper-Clark this takes me back with great lyrics

Evidently there was some censorship on OGWT as it was Keith Joesph who smiled when a baby died. Some people forget how dreadful the Thatcher years were, but thankfully they'll never return. Joseph was, of course, one of her henchmen.

Lloydy,

Have you listened to anything by IRoy?

I used to have all the Frontline vinyl.

I bought the cd box set as soon as it came out in the 80's.

zavvi.com at the mo are selling the cd box set well cheap.

Its been hard to find for years but they have some and its cheap.

Stu

The box set has three albums in it by,

U-ROY , DREAD IN BABYLON.

CULTURE , TOO LONG IN SLAVERY.

GLADIATORS, DREADLOCKS THE TIME IS NOW.

Stu.

What a gig to have attended, brilliant memories I bet!

I've never heard anything by IRoy, but credit card and "buy now" finger poised. I can't see the box set you mentioned, am I looking on the right site? (zavvi.com & other obvious potential sellers) Thanks Stu!
