What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

Jason, I think he has a few tour dates coming in November. More can be found at his Facebook page, Tricky(adrian thaws). I know, he would never have made it with a name like that. KR Tony

Highly recommended.

You mean 'Old man lying by the side of the road, with the lorries rolling by' ?

Or

'Old man take a look at my life,  I'm a lot like you' ?

Just love Neil. Waiting for his dark  "On the Beach" album from Aunty Rainforest.

A brilliant Kovacevich supported by a small, and rather average band...

Hello Stu,

After listening to samples, I've just ordered the double cd version (complete with cardboard gramophone) from Amazon UK.

I bought this specifically for the Dvorak Symphony 9, but the Haydn 'Clock' Symphony is also wonderful.

Savoy Brown 'Getting To The Point'

Original !st press Decca Mono 1968.

Fine British Blues. Chris Youlden's smouldering vocals are a treat. A relaxing blues album and less Blues Rock than most of their other albums.
