Just as an observation...are people round here listening to more classical music?
I think the mix of posters to this thread has been changing and there is therefore a lot more classical. I personally don't bother posting here too often now so you get a lot less of my music. However, I am listening to rather a lot of classical at the moment and reading posts from EJS, Florestan etc with interest.

I used to love "tuning" into this thread to see what everyone is listening to, having a "quick" listen on Spotify and then aadding to my wish list which pretty much converted into my basket pretty quickly.

I do enjoy looking for young or old musicians that I have never heard before. It is somewhat like looking for diamonds. Often it is someone on this forum that finds the diamonds for me and sometimes it is just pure luck. Last year I started exploring the Manadelring Quartett on Audite and came across the Claire-Marie Le Guay on the Schumann disc. For some reason I liked her playing very much right from the start. Now with Volume 1 & 2 of the Haydn-Mozart done, I'm onto volume 3 probably tomorrow. I just can't wait to hear her Liszt Vertiges album which is taking its sweet time arriving...

I have now 3 CD's by her and the two I like most are:

Both with the beautifull Harmonia Mundi recording quality

and..? What do you think, Adrian? I loved the Grieg and I am in the midst of digging a bomb shelter, the safest place to listen to the Liszt concertos.
