Howard,
It is very very good.
Steve has made a bloody good job of it.
You just have to listen to the drum solo to hear how much better than the original it is.

A fabulous soundscape with BTs usual trademark swirling beats and songlines punctuated by some digitised sounds. One of his better but less clubby/dance-y albums - perfect to relax back to with a cool glass on chenin blanc.

Hi ewemon.
Thank you for the heads up on this one. It was waiting for me when i got in from work and it is all you say above 'A truly superb disc'. I think there is also a hint of John Hiatt in his voice. What do you know about Keith? Has he any more music out there to match this.
Regards Graham.
Hi Graham, He had another album out on RCA before that one but it is straight ahead country.
He hasn't released anything since Big City as he toured for a few years with Dwight Yokum in his band. Some the tracks off the album have been recorded by other artists but all he seems to be doing is playing low key gigs at the moment. Hopefully we may see another album come out soon but who knows.
Glad you love the album though.

Nicely done albeit not as passionate as Richter/Gauk or Argerich/Barakovsky.

Have had this sitting in must listen to pile for sometime. Christ why didn't I play it earlier as it is a really good album for those who like space/folk/rock.
They are playing Brixton Academy on the 30th of this month if anyone wants to pop along.
