What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol.VIII)

With 2012 almost upon us, it's time to start a fresh thread.  I've gone back to an earlier thread title because often the "why" is the most interesting part of the post.

I have four original vinyl albums from this 14 album series “A History Of American Rock N’ Roll Radio”1962, 1965, and 1967, 1969. These records have nostalgia by the bucketful, the songs, the adverts, the DJing style. Each year has its own gems and its fascinating to compare American radio in the 60’s to what we had with The Beeb, and see how wrong Auntie got it once it tried to copy. You can check out this wonderful series on CD.

On vinyl, still retaining its magic (and quiet surface) after 30 years of careful use.
