I am not fan of Bach; piano either. I prefer this work on original instrument.
But Gould makes here something very special.
No emotions; no any respect/care to any audience; no exhibitionism. Only pure music.
Highly recommended.
Who has no this CD set, can listen on oldish Sony edition too.
Naims love this work.

Chamayou's complete Années de Pèlerinage, the whole thing in a single session. An amazing achievement, right now I don't think it can be done any better.
Cheers,
EJ

Archive Produktion ( Historical Music Devision of Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft) of Brandenburg Concerti with August Wenzinger.
I am not too hip to *HIP* but this old recording ( recorded between 50-53) sounding absolutely fresh and gorgeous as if they are current release.
All Archive series vinyls come in a plain paper jacket but I love this *stats* card.

Good God. This is a sort of Bach that is good to induce coma.
Munch's Bach is dead as this stilted cover photo.
A serious same blandness happening in that I can't tell the one tune from the next.
