Just exploring the last 30 LPs I bought from a record store about to close
due to owner's retirement.
Interesting LP though.

What is the deal when buying from the US, do you have to pay any extra for 'duty' or vat?
Who are the best US online dealers for vinyl?
Many thanks, Andy.

A (for me) new discovery.
I love the sound of Naive recordings. It's been added to my favourite labels.

The Pogues were an amazing band at this time - I saw the great man about 5-6 years ago - he turned up about 10 hours late and could hardly stand and there had been various rumours of him not making it all so the crowd were pretty agitated which added to the atmosphere - one of the best gigs I ever went to (amazingly he remembered all the words...), on the black stuff

1st & 3rd, completed very early this morning.

Otto Klemperer - the witty sage (from a 1960 (Feb 23 - March 2nd) recording of Wagner which would be released for the occasion of his 75th Birthday on May 14th):
"At one point, a difficult 'cello entry, the leading 'cellist of the Philharmonia, Raymond Clark, asked for a particularly clear beat, "In Order" as he said, "that we may get it together for the first time in history". "The first time in English history, Mr Clark," corrected Klemperer.
