Woohoo, finally have Haitink's Bruckner 8 from 1981 on CD! What a magnificent performance, it is completely worth its reputation!! Bought it new, from other sellers, clearly one of those discs that has spent on somebody's shelf - sealed - for 30 years.

After cleaning these up at the weekend, I'm re-visiting my youth and listening to these. I'd forgotten how good they are, much more than just 'heavy metal'. The rhythm section were soooo tight!
