file comparison software?

I would like to make byte-level comparison of two music files. What software would you recommend?

Foobar has a plug in to compare the audio portions of two files. DBpoweramp music converter will do the same.

Aysil, for byte level debugging of files I use 010 Editor by Sweetscape Software. I think I had to pay for it, but it wasn't a lot.
This is what I used to compare WAV files for this forum last year when there was debates about alleged ripping differences.
