N-stream glitch

I'm sure that this has been covered before so apologies ... does anyone know how to resolve an n-stream app which won't seem to recognise my Qute - the Qute plays fine via remote control and is clearly accessing wireless, my iPhone and iPad are both finding the wireless ... but the app can't seem to find the Qute ... what am i doing wrong?

Anyone?

Hi Andrew

Have you set a static IP Address on the app?

Find the IP Address of the Qute:

Settings>Factory Settings>System Status>IP Address

On the n-Stream go to Setup. Turn Auto Connection OFF and then enter the IP Address at the top of the App screen.

That should do it.

Yes i have tried that (after about 2 hours of searching through menus) and it doesn't seem to crack the problem - i'm sitting 3 feet from the Qute and both devices can see wireless but not each other - strange ...

But whilst typing i thought what the hell why not reboot the router ... and JOY!

Andy, what wireless AP are you using? It must support multicast and broadcast for discovery. Have you got multicast switched off in the AP? Might be worth trying an Apple Airport Express if you can borrow one, certainly if your current AP makes no mention of supporting multicast.

Powering down the router is always worth trying and often successfull.
