Where can I download quality music

Posted by: Davidmanne on 18 January 2012

As I understand it, one of the main reasons for the shift to streaming is that we can obtain equal or better than CD recordings via download.

Also, some music may just not be available at the corner music store.

I am battling to find sources of music.  There is obviously the Naim site, but that is very limited.

Where do you recommend I look to find the sort of download that justifies the Naim equipment.

Many thanks

David

No worries.

But if they don't keep stock they should be able to order it.

And if they don't want to I'm sure you can order it by mail or webshop at TomTom in the UK.

I've used HDtracks via paypal...no probs.  Also SOS and Linn,
mainly classical and jazz, but there is a fab 96/24 Cover My Blues
by Pete Alderton....highly recommended.

I can see Pete Alderton made quite an impression :-)
Quite intriqued he was born in Felixstowe..... His style is very reminiscent of the Mean Red Spiders, that other classic Blues and Harp band that hailed from this part of the world. I still remember thier last ever gig at the The Railway in Foxhall Road, Ipswich. The crowd listening spilled right out into the street. Those were the days :-)
