UnitiQute/Airport Express

Hi All
I am experimenting with itunes/spotify wireless via airport express into my qute. It all works
Fine with an analogue (3.5 to 2x rca) but im wanting to connect digitally and have tried with QED digital optical cable with adaptor on APE end. No sound whatsoever, im not sure whether the APE is faulty, the adaptor is faulty or some settings are wrong. Im gonna try another cable but was wondering if anyone out there has had similar issues with an Apple Airport Express

hi, this should work fine, i would first check with another cable just to rule that out, do you need to enable the optical in on the qute somehow? might be worth checking the manual?

Set somemusic going and check the end of the cable to see if there is a red light.

Probably the adaptor...

I'd mosey on down to the online store named after the large South American river; and pick up for a few quid a Mini-TOSLink to TOSLink 'cable'.
