HD Flag playback issue w US->NDX

bought number of 96/24 albums on hdtracks.com, put on usb and plugged into US. On same stick i have 96/24 wav tracks. Now NDX plays the wav files no problem, finds the flag albums and tracks, but does not play the tracks (error: station not available?). According to manuals, both US and NDX support the format.

any ideas to resolution? any similar experience?

if better to convert files to wav, which software should i use?

Have you tried putting those same hd files on a different stick, and trying that? For some reason unknown to me, every once in a while files cant be read by my US on a given usb stick, but can be on another.
