To having their hair dyed or coloured?

I saw Ray Davis from the Kinks yesterday.

His hair looks bloody awful .

He is not fooling anyone?

Tom Jones gave up dying his 2 years ago and looks better for it imo.

Stu, you leg puller!

If I did that the absense would be all the more obvious! Perhaps I should get a Rooney rug implanted!

No mines it's usual "light" blond.

Never used hair dye etc.  Refuse to use a combover or pretend that my hair isn't slowly thinning.  Hair's been white since I was in my 30s, and SWMBO now trims it to "No 2" every 3 weeks for me.  Saves a fortune on barbers!  Perhaps I'm just not vain?

When she started going grey (from her previous, very long, jet black hair), she initiallytried dyeing it.  I persuaded her to stop doing this, as I love her just as she is.  Glad she did, because the pepper and salt suits her. The only thing she did was to cut it short.  Now still mostly black, but with quite a few grey streaks.

I started to go grey and my hairline started to recede about 20 years ago. But both processes didn't really continue. In fact, I have very little grey hair now. My hairline very, very slowly continues it march rearwards. I don't fight it, I've had a buzzcut for 30 years.

Nope and I don't think I ever will but each to his or her own. My hair is still relatively full and dark and I fully understand if somebody's had sudden hair loss, accident or similar but I think natural is generally better. Tom Jones looks much better now, as does Sir Paul since he got rid of the witch.

My Father started to go grey at about 75yrs and still at 83 has a very thick head of hair. I appear to be following his example.

I once did a stage play which required me to be aged and had my hair sprayed to look grey. I actually quite liked it.

Never have, never will. That didn't stop my teenage son putting this into my Christmas stocking though;

No signs of me losing hair yet (at 62) but I decided to have my hair dyed grey to make me look more intelligent and distinguished.

A couple of my neighbours of similar age dye their hair with what I suspect is the same stuff and it looks ludicrous; very dark & it's got a purple tinge to it. To be fair to them, I think it's their wives that make them dye it.

Why is it that when you reach about 30 hair stops growing where you want and starts sprouting everywhere you don't?

Posted on: 26 January 2012 by tonym

It's the nose hair that gets me. Damn nuisance.

Agreed.  SWMBO tells me about once a week that I'm looking like a walrus, so out come the scissors.

She cuts the hair in my ears when she "planes me down" .

I have the same amount of hair now that I always have, it' s just that some has slipped down my back like a badly fitting balaclava.

SWMBO does not have a single grey!

Choice: have a few grey hairs or look like a dyed hair wanker like David Cameron.

I'll have you know Dave's a regular guy Graham! Here he is on a caravan holiday with me -

My hair care is easy. My barber retired, and I didn't want to look for a new one, and I'm half bald anyways, so I just shaved my head.
