Stones at Hampton Coliseum 1981 is now available for download on the Stones Archive site.

By that time I was losing interest as they'd got so sloppy. Has anybody heard this?

Just downloaded and listened to L.A. Friday, recorded in 1975 at the LA Forum. Both performance and recording are amazingly good. Why on earth were gems like this locked away while crude going through the motions crap like Love You Live were released?

At 9 bucks it's a snip for two and a half hours of the Stones when they were still good.

Hopefully Leeds 1971 will appear soon.

Tom,

I worked part of that 75 tour.

I nearly split up with my wife to be over it.

We still got wed in April 76 though.

rich,

To be honest i have most Stones albums on vinyl and again on CD.

And a hell of a lot of, off the sound board live recordings already.

I wont be paying money for any more.

I used to record the Cricket, Test matches for Mick on the old Phillips video recorders and on VHS tapes when they came out.

Fitted lots of kit in Rolling Stones music offices and in band members homes in the UK and abroad.

When it comes to the Stones music old and new?

I am pretty much sorted until there next studio album.

Stu.

I know what you mean. I think Exile on Main Street is their last essential purchase but bought their next three or four albums without thinking about it. Then I started thinking about it and bought barely a single studio album after that.

I still love this one though.

Stu,

You always sound very knowledgeable and well connected. Is it rude to ask how you've managed this?

And I also have a load of soundboard bootlegs but none approaches these archives in terms of quality.
