Where can I get an instrumental for Pink Floyd music?
Posted by: Consciousmess on 10 February 2012
Hi all,
I hope someone on the forum can help here as I can't find any instrumentals for Floyd music? Can anyone help?
Cheers,
Jon
Amazon.
A minimum of -11ºC here - yet still I feel a cold chill down my spine.
Senor Coconut, all is forgiven.

Adam,
Have you been sniffing that pool cleaning fluid again?
Stu.
Not sure I got it right Stu -- with Adam you never know -- but this and this might give a hint... Oh, and notice this particular one amongst his hundred other monikers.
And how about this one ? An instrumental extended version does exist...
Symphonic:
Jazz:
But if the question was: where to find original versions without the vocals, then I don't know if it only existed ever. After only a quick look as I don't own them, even in the 'Immersion' box sets there seems to be no trace of instrumentals.
Jon,
I know you were not asking for this?
Its still worth ago as its a brilliant take on DSOTM.
I play it more these days than the Floyd album.
Stu.
Yes, I skipped this one as it is not instrumental, but I agree: great album (just received as a gift, nice!).
Is Dubber Side as good ?
You could take a 'slight cosmic shift' & start emptying your wallet on DSOTM - AKA- Dark Side Of The Moog by Pete Namelock & Klaus Schulze - ah for a saucerful of ambience.
The 'Evolution of' said pieces is a good starting point.

Cant answer that one.
Stu.
Dubber side is better in my opinion, but still listen to Dub a lot and as Stu says more than the original !
That is a good range, thanks!
Am I correct saying that there are NO lyrics at all in them? The reason why I say that, is that I have a DVD of relaxing Floyd, but they still tried to sing!
Thanks for the albums given.
Jon
