Naim Desktop Problems

Posted by: shing on 16 February 2012

The problems I have are as below : -

I have a \\xxx\test\authorname\album\*.*. Mounted as a network share. The contents of the directory is 1 chinese album with song titles in chinese wording. Nothing comes up on the Naim Desktop Client ver 2.0.11.1165  and the NServe on the IPAD - does anyone knows what is going on?

How do you rename the artist in the Naim Desktop Client? I am at the Track Name/album/artist/type/length/position level. When I right click "rename", it only allows me to rename the track title. Property just shows up the album art and the track listing. Is there any way to rename the "artist"?

I have a lot of chinese album and this has got my head cracking!!! Management of tags was sure easier with Itunes with Pure Music. I have a UnitiSSD on loan. UnitiSSD/Ndac/282/250 sure fits the bill, it would be very unfortunate to drop unitissd from the lineup just because I can't find a way to "tag" my files/album properly in Naim Desktop Client.

any help/input are very much appreciated.

cheers

I got the above covered.

I still can't figure out why the wav/flac files with chinese characters mounted as a network share does not show up..
