I remember hearing the original story last year.  Glad to know Einstein was right after all!  That's reassuring.

 

Maybe they were winding some Naim speaker cables among the equipment and it ended up unplugging itself, eh?

Modern society.

 

Cheap and nasty. Lasts five minutes. Chuck it away and replace it with tomorrow's model.

 

Same with the people operating the stuff. Assume all the connectors have engaged, assume the clocks in the system are perefcect, assume, assume, assume...........

 

But at least they were honest and owned up to the duff data they had.
